Sam McKinney - Gourd Artist and Grower in Lindsay, CA

I was introduced to the gourd community in 1998.

I am a member of the Ca. Gourd Society, American Gourd Society, and the Kaweah Artisans.

My gourd work incorporates coiled pine needles, woven grasses, beads, and other materials. I also use intricate carving and wood burning to accentuate the innate beauty of the gourd itself.
