With a trained eye and love for art history, Nesi Mesman has been a long time student to the arts. After graduating from San Diego State University's school of Fine Art, she found education through contemporary artists and art museums.

Lately, Nesi has found time to paint at night while her infant son and husband sleep. This has always been a prime time for inspiration to her.

Most of her pieces are watercolor, as oil painting require more time and patience than she can give currently. The thought process behind most of her works have evolved from art history or personal history. Also, many of her techniques have derived from art history.

Nesi's goal is to grow and evolve as an artist. She hopes to find more time for painting, and possibly begin an adventure in sculpture.
